After 30 years of growing and supplying trees and shrubs to thousands of satisfied customers, Matatoa has closed the gates on our display area and shop.
We are still offering our popular online service so you can research and order plants over the planting season. (ORDERS CAN BE TAKEN AND PROCESSED BETWEEN MAY AND OCTOBER 2011) AND FROM MAY UNTIL END AUGUST 2012)

PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL ORDERS ARE IN PLACE BY THE 21ST OF OCTOBER AS OUR OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED FROM 30 OCTOBER UNTIL MAY 2012.
As a grower and retailer for over 30 years, Matatoa can now offer advice for planting projects and supplying plant grades from small to large, in both exotic and native species - direct to the public via our website catalogue. If we don't have grow it, we can source plants from reputable growers.

The online catalogue has a great search facility where you can find plants by group (for example Shade Trees, Small growers) or by Tolerances (eg. Coastal Hardy, Tolerates Dry conditions). Join the database by entering your email address and location and find out how easy it is to choose plants and order from Matatoa. Of course we can Deliver to Your Door (NZ only).
We also grow POPLAR AND WILLOW Poles and Cuttings for hill and gully stabilisation. Pre ordering of 3m Poles by September is a good idea for supply for the following June/July.
