Big Trees
Matatoa specialises in growing big tree and shrub specimens for instant landscaping. Links below will take you to medium sized grades, large grades and extra large grades of trees and shrubs for you to choose from. Remember all species shown with a 'kiwi' icon are NZ natives or native cultivars. All others are exotic trees or shrubs (non native).
Containers
The majority of our large specimens are grown in PB (Planter Bags) or EL (Easy Lift planter bags with handles). Some of the larger grades are grown in RC (Root Control Bags).
The large specimens have been grouped in medium, large and xtra large grades. Each separate group will indicate that we grow the listed species in at least one of those containers. Just click on the species you are interested in, and this will take you to the window showing the plant description and all of the containers and grades (the expected height in cm from the top of the planter bag when ready for sale).
