Do I need to use slow-release fertiliser?

Fertiliser is important.  It can help to give your plants the best chance of success with little fuss.

There are advanced forms of fertiliser available that can assist plants with nutrient absorption by releasing nutrients gradually over many months.  They are scientifically designed to not burn roots, even with direct contact.

We recommend and stock slow release fertilisers and our helpful staff can offer the most suitable option for your particular plants needs.

All of the following are in our on line catalogue:

Magamp  - slow release granules - about a film cannister per small plant mixed well in with soil

Agriform tablets - between 2-6 per plant depending on how large the tree is you are planting

Thrive - Available for citrus and also for Rhododenrons, Camellias and Azaleas

If using natural fertiliser from farm animals, make sure it is well aged and mixed in evenly with the natural soil.  Do not use in excess!
