How much fertiliser do I use?

GENERAL RECOMMENDATION FOR SLOW RELEASE FERTILIZER APPLICATION

Below is a table to help you with working out your fertiliser requirements when you have chosen your plants.  If you need help with this contact our team.  Always sprinkle granulated fertiliser evenly in the hole for planting.  Never dump any sort of fertiliser in mass at the bottom of the hole.

This table has been put together using Magamp and Agriform tablets.  We also stock ‘Osmocote’ – you can contact us for more information on osmocote rates.

Rates shown are for the grades (container sizes) of container grown plants – Fill in the gaps to work out your fertiliser requirements.

Example – 1 x EL80 will require 9 Agriform bricks and 150 grams of magamp.

Note:

Magamp sold per 1000gms (1 kilo or 2 kilo packs - $12.00 per kilo) 25gms is approximately equal to 1 film canister full – Mix in with the soil being replaced in the planting hole.
Agriform bricks generally sold at 20 per bag at 0.30 cents each or 0.25 cents each for quantities over 100.  Place in the hole around the plant.
