Greetings to you all, 


Well it looks like many of you are doing what often happens when times get tough - concentrating on working, beautifying and adding value to  your own properties.  If there is one thing that can show huge growth in value is the investment that you put into trees and shrubs on your property.  

Time in this case doesn't cost you money, it grows for you..   Invest in trees 2 metres high now and in a few short years they have doubled, tripled, or quadrupled in size and value.  Mature trees and shrubs cannot be instantly purchased, except perhaps by the very wealthy and they come with a huuuge.. price tag by the time they are transported etc.     

So the sooner you get planting, the sooner you will have gorgeous trees in your garden.

Often SOLD OUT by the middle of the season, Poplar and Willow POLES and cuttings are used for stabilising land and providing stock shelter where it is not easy to plant rooted trees and they can be easily protected from stock by using pole protectors at the time of planting..   If you would like to know more information on poles and cuttings  click here......    Please note that if not pre-ordered, rooted trees are not available this season.

 Lifestyle Farmers Otaki Field Day Saturday 23rd May

Chris, Nick and Jen will once again be present at this field day

There will be plenty of excellent bargains for you to purchase on the day.

The field day will be held at the Otaki Racecourse which is located just off Rahui Rd in Otaki. .

  • The event is aimed at people living or planning to purchase a lifestyle block, which can range in size from 1 to 50 acres.
  • The field day features exhibits covering a whole range of goods and services of special interest to lifestyle farmers. These include tractors, ride-on mowers, fencing equipment, hydroponics, plants, animals, general farm supplies, computers, green houses and a host of other products and services.   
  • Show runs from 9am til 4pm, admission - $5 for adults - children free. (No eftpos)
