We reserve the right to adjust prices without notice although it is not a general policy for us to increase prices during the current price list year.

100+    100 or more of the one stock code if available

Deposits (Required to Secure Forward Orders)

A deposit of 25% is payable to confirm your order. Please forward the deposit when mailing your order form, otherwise if ordering by phone or fax, please forward a deposit on receipt of your order confirmation. Between March and August, plants not uplifted within six weeks of the confirmed dispatch date are required to be paid for in full, and thereafter a maintenance storage fee of 5% of the order value per month will be charged if not uplifted. Plants will be held with a deposit payment for this six week period, and thereafter if the order is not paid in full and/or cancelled we reserve the right to forfeit the deposit. Plants ordered for uplift late in the season, (eg. September / October onwards are required to be paid for in full by the end of September)

Sales, Packing & Freight, Claims

Plant sales are on a ‘first come first served’ basis. Freight and packing will be charged fairly. Orders requested for dispatch will be sent by Carrier, Courier or by our own truck. Once we have confirmed availability of plants for you, we can give you a firm price for the freight component of the order based on the plants and grades available.  You can then either accept or reject the order and we can proceed from there.

Please check your plants on receipt and notify us if there is any problem at all, preferably within 24 hours. Any claims for errors or unsatisfactory plants must be made within 7 days of receipt.  We have no control over plants once they leave the nursery and are in your hands.  If plants are not planted immediately, make sure plants are protected from strong winds, are kept watered and cared for.  When planted, keep strong weed competition and browzing animals away, ensure adequate moisture, and if plants have been disturbed by strong winds, firm them up again around the base to prevent root movement.

Claims for losses or damage in transit must be made directly to the transport agency concerned. We would appreciate being notified of any plants damaged in delivery to enable us to keep a check on delivery agents.

Payment

In a hurry? Pay by Credit Card (We accept Mastercard and Visa)

If you’re in a hurry for trees to be sent to you, we can take your payment over the phone. We are registered as a mail order credit card merchant. This means we are able to process VISA and MasterCard at the point-of-sale and for all mail, email or phone orders.

Please remember to quote your expiry date and name on the card when ordering.

Cheque & Credit Card payments for trees should be received or available to us by the anticipated despatch date. Your card will be debited only when your trees are despatched. Of course if there is anything unsatisfactory with your trees when you receive them, just contact us immediately so we can put things right. Once supplied, all plants remain the property of Matatoa Trees & Shrubs until paid for in full.
